Artificial light exposure is one of the important factors that induce metabolic diseases. In this study, we found that light exposure can rapidly reduce glucose tolerance (GT) in mice by activating autoreceptor retinal ganglion cells (ipRGCs) that innervate the supraoptic nucleus (SON) of the hypothalamus. After the loop, the effect of light on glucose metabolism can be interrupted in the dark environment, after the small rest receives a pencil coding injection, causing heat production in the drop-colored eye fat tissue. However, the light package phase interrupts this active stress thermogenesis process reducing capacitive glucose tolerance (GT, this study provides a potential preventive and therapeutic strategy for glucose metabolism disorders.
